SUMMARY:FREE Texas January Online Sibshop Facilitator Training and Sibling Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by S.H.A.R.E. Texas. Times are posted in Central Time. Texas residents will be given priority to register.  Non-Texas residents, please contact Traci Hopper to inquire about being added to the waitlist for any remaining slots.\n\nThis training will take place daily January 20-23, 2021:\n\nSessions 1 & 2 12:00-1:30 p.m.\nSession 3 12:00-2:00 p.m.\nSession 4 12:00-2:30, including a live online Sibshop\n\nPrimary goal/audience: To train new Sibshop facilitators and administrators who want to learn how to run a Sibshop.  Trainees attend 4 online sessions over 4 consecutive days, to learn about sibs’ life-long concerns, find out how to organize a Sibshop, and experience an online Demonstration Sibshop. These trainees must attend all 4 sessions of the training to become a Certified Sibshop Facilitator.  Upon completion of the training, Certified Sibshop Facilitators may register and start their own local Sibshop.\n\nSecondary goal/audience: To educate parents, service providers, and others about sibs’ ever-changing issues across the lifespan.  Participants are interested in sibling issues, but not necessarily in running a Sibshop.  This audience attends only session #1-#3 of the online training. \n\nFor more information and to register, please contact Traci Hopper at thopper@sharewtx.org or 432-818-1259.\n\n
